STRATEGIC SOCIAL & CREATIVE DIERCTION

OVERVIEW

Palm Valley Spirits is a Byron Bay–based spirits brand crafting premium coconut-based products inspired by coastal living. While the product itself was distinctive and beautifully positioned, their social presence lacked cohesion and strategic clarity.
 
The goal was to align their digital presence with the elevated, lifestyle-led brand they were building.

THE CHALLENGE

Despite offering a unique product made from 100% coconuts, Palm Valley Spirits’ Instagram feed did not reflect the quality, energy or aspiration of the brand. Content was inconsistent, the bio lacked clarity, and the overall grid felt disconnected from the premium, beach-luxury persona they embody.
 
For a lifestyle-driven spirits brand in Byron Bay, social media is more than a channel. It is a primary brand experience. The feed needed to feel curated, immersive and intentional.

THE STRATEGY
 
We developed a clear social media strategy and creative direction to reposition the brand visually and tonally.
Working with existing assets and producing new custom graphics, imagery and reels, we restructured the grid to create cohesion, rhythm and recognisable brand cues.
 
To elevate the brand further, I was flown to Byron Bay to creatively direct a lifestyle-led photoshoot for social content and marketing collateral.

The direction focused on:

• Capturing natural light and coastal textures
• Showcasing the product in aspirational yet authentic settings
• Blending beach culture with premium refinement
• Creating versatile assets for both digital and broader marketing use


This ensured that every piece of content aligned with the brand’s positioning rather than existing as standalone posts.

THE OUTCOME 
 
The transformation is visible across both the grid and the brand’s wider content ecosystem. The feed now feels cohesive, elevated and unmistakably Byron.
Palm Valley Spirits’ digital presence now:
• Reflects the premium nature of the product
• Aligns with its beach-luxury positioning
• Strengthens brand recognition
• Supports both social engagement and marketing campaigns


This was not simply content creation. It was strategic social and creative direction designed to position the brand at the level it operates.
