Welcome to the Design Diaries - digital marketing advice for premium brands. Everyone knows that writing a blog is great for your website's SEO (search engine optimisation), but I'd like to utilise this space to provide business updates, digital marketing updates and advice and give tips for premium, coastal or lifestyle brands to follow when it comes to harnessing their own marketing. This will also be a great way to keep my creative writing flowing and showcase the power of good copywriting. This means not using ChatGPT. Whilst ChatGPT is a great tool, I do feel like it "smooths" the brain when it comes to creative writing. There have been studies to show that it can impact critical thinking, and make writing 'soulless'. TIME wrote a great article about this if it has piqued your interest, which you can find here. I want to keep the copywriting part human, both on this blog and for your business - because if there's one thing ChatGPT doesn't do, it's build human connection, which is what we're known for here at By the Bay Marketing.
